Activate free with PromoLock

Every active PromoLock plan includes LeakHunt. Activation is two clicks, one in each app.

  1. On the PromoLock dashboard, the card next to the Controller has a LeakHunt tab. While LeakHunt isn’t active it reads Exposed. Click Activate free. This opens LeakHunt in your Shopify admin; if it isn’t installed yet, Shopify shows its install page first.

  2. On LeakHunt’s plan page, under Using PromoLock?, click Activate free with PromoLock. LeakHunt confirms your plan with PromoLock directly.

  3. The plan card now reads Included with PromoLock. Back on the PromoLock dashboard the tab flips to Protected once LeakHunt has checked in, and its link becomes Open.

Which LeakHunt plan you get follows your PromoLock plan: Growth earns Hunter, Starter earns Basic. A Basic bundle can still move up with Upgrade to Hunter on the plan page, as a regular LeakHunt subscription.

Check it worked

Settings → Plan & billing in LeakHunt reads Included with PromoLock, with no renewal date and nothing to cancel.

If it doesn’t work

  • No active PromoLock plan found on this store: PromoLock’s plan on this store isn’t active yet. Finish activating PromoLock first, then try again.
  • This store already has a paid LeakHunt plan: you’re subscribed to LeakHunt directly. Cancel that subscription on the plan page first if you’d rather use the bundle.
  • Couldn’t reach PromoLock: a passing error. Try again in a minute.

Afterwards

LeakHunt re-confirms the bundle with PromoLock about once a day. A PromoLock upgrade or downgrade changes your LeakHunt plan within a day, and if the PromoLock plan ends, free access ends within a day too. LeakHunt’s own free trial stays available then.
